7 Best Cities to Celebrate New Years

Do you have fun plans for New Years Eve this year? Today, we’re going to talk about some of the most happening places to ring in the new year. Some of these fun places include New York City, Honolulu, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

New York City is one of the most popular places to celebrate the new year. Watching the ball drop, going to some of the coolest bars and clubs in the country, and seeing some awesome views are just a few things the city has to offer. There are over 100,000 places to celebrate in the city, and none of them will disappoint.

Honolulu, Hawaii, is another city that puts on an incredible show for the new year. Laid back with great weather, Honolulu is the place to celebrate. At both (why-kiki) Waikiki Beach and the Aloha Tower Marketplace fireworks are displayed when the clock strikes 12. The (kah-kah-ahk-oh) Kaka’ako Waterfront Park has fun activities like carnival rides, a beer garden, and multiple food trucks and stages for live entertainment.

If you’re in California, try heading to Los Angeles for the night. This incredible city has a lot to offer, from fun street parties, to fancy black tie affairs, the city of angels will ensure that you will have the time of your life. Club crawls are huge, and the annual Cleopatra’s New Year’s Eve ball at the Hollywood Egyptian Theatre is a major hot spot.

If you’re in the Midwest, Chicago puts on a pretty fun show too. Great dinners, parties, and firework cruises are available for everyone and are a great idea for families celebrating the holiday. Navy Pier is a popular destination for families. The pier has many attractions, including rides, games, and engaging entertainment. While it might be loud, you know you’ll have a night to remember.

Wherever you decide to spend your new year's eve, make sure you have a blast and stay safe!
