Amazon To Hire 30K Part-Time Workers

On Thursday, April 6th, 2017, Amazon announced that they would be hiring 30,000 part-time employees. 25,000 of them would work in the warehouse and 5,000 would work in virtual customer service, allowing them to work from home.

These new employees will be in addition to the 40,000 part-time workers already employed.

Employees who work at least 20 hours a week have benefits which include paid tuition for courses that are in fields of high demand.

If you’re looking for full-time work, there are options for that too. Back in January, Amazon announced plans to employ 100,000 full-time workers in the United States within the next year and a half. These new positions would be in machine learning and cloud technology. Full-time employees will receive full benefits.
