What if I told you that ice cream for breakfast helps boost brain performance? That’s right!


A recent study conducted by a professor at Kyorin University in Tokyo, Yoshihiko Koga, reveals that eating a certain amount of ice cream immediately after waking up in the morning, can actually make you smarter.


Professor Koga discovered that ice cream connoisseurs release an abundance of high-frequency Alpha-waves, which are linked with reduced mental irritation and high alertness.


In 2005, researchers at the Institute of Psychiatry in London found similar results. One spoonful of ice cream gives your brain the same type of pleasure as winning money, or listening to your favorite music.


Koga has yet to determine a definite connection between the mental boost delivered by ice cream and a specific ingredient.
