Simon Halls, a spokesman for Fisher’s family, confirmed her death in a statement, declaring her passing on Tuesday, December 27th at 8:55 am.
Fisher suffered a major heart attack on Friday, December 23rd while on a flight to Los Angeles. A medic on board was able to perform CPR on her until she was transported to a hospital.
Mere days before her passing, Fisher’s daughter announced that she was in stable condition. Many fans have expressed their support on social media over the week.
