Last night, during the Red Sox baseball game in Boston, four people protested by holding a huge black banner with white lettering that read, “Racism is as American as Baseball”.
There were loud boos from the crowd while security forced them to remove the banner and escorted them out of the park. The baseball stadium has a policy that forbids fans from displaying signs at the ballpark. One of the protesters said it was inspired by the “Black Lives Matter” movement. None of them were arrested. Their purpose was to raise awareness of increased white supremacy in America, and that we “need to wake up”.
