On Sunday, April 30th, a shooting occurred in the pool area at the La Jolla Crossroads apartments in San Diego, California.
Peter Selis, a 49-year-old man, was relaxing in a chair and having a beer as he shot at party-goers. While firing the gun, he called his ex-girlfriend to inform her of what was happening. Of the seven people shot, one was killed. Three officers responded to the scene and eventually shot and killed the gunman.
Investigators explain the victims were targeted “for no reason other than their mere presence.”
