FBI backs CIA on Russian interference
Favorite

As inauguration day comes closer and closer, it was revealed recently that the FBI agrees with the CIA’s claim that Russia hacked our 2016 Presidential election. James Comey, the Director of the FBI, and James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence, stated that they both stand by the CIA’s judgment of the situation.

John Brennan, the Director of the CIA stated that earlier in the week, he spoke with both Comey and Clapper separately and has confirmed that there is “strong consensus among them on the scope, nature, and intent of Russian interference in the presidential election.”

Brennan continued to state that all of their organizations will be completing a thorough review and investigations into the incident.

According to NBC News, U.S. intelligence officials believe that Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, was in charge of the hacking.
