Going 'Gaga' Over Super Bowl Drones

Did you go “gaga” over the Lady Gaga performance at the Super Bowl?

Let’s talk about the amazing drones that were used for the performance. 300 synchronized drones danced and created the outline of an American flag and spelled out “Pepsi” as well.

Unfortunately, if you attended the Super Bowl, you actually did not see the drone show.

Tech company, Intel, used Shooting Star drones for the special performance. Earlier in the week, Gaga's high leap from the roof of Houston's NRG Stadium, and drone performance, was pre-filmed.

Due to the Federal Aviation Association regulations, on game day, there is a ban of drones within 34.5 miles of the stadium.

The Super Bowl was the highest a Shooting Star drone has flown. Intel received a special waiver from the F.A.A. to fly the drones up to 700 feet in the air.

Gaga wanted to create something that was never seen before, and it surely was a sight to see!

Did you enjoy the halftime show?
