Lyft Partners with Taco Bell

The company Lyft is partnering with Taco Bell to test a new feature called "Taco Mode." Lyft customers will have the option to ride through the Taco Bell drive-thru between the hours of 9pm and 2am.

But that’s not all! "Taco Mode" also includes a custom in-car menu, free Doritos Locos Tacos, and a "taco-themed car." Sounds amazing right?

Well, not if you're a Lyft driver. Since the company announced this partnership, Lyft drivers have been fuming on social media. Tacos are notoriously known for being messy, and drivers are not thrilled about their cars being covered in taco ingredients. They're also concerned for how bad their cars will smell after a night of Taco Bell runs.

This new feature will be tested in Orange County, California this weekend from July 27th-July 29th and again August 3rd through August 5th. The company hopes to expand this feature across the U.S. in 2018.

So, how do you feel about "Taco Mode?" Would you use it?
