Last Thursday, in Baltimore, Maryland, 68-year old Leverne Doran was sitting in his car at Loch Raven Middle School when suddenly, a plastic bottle hit Doran’s car. Upset, he got out of his car and suspected the bottle was thrown from a nearby bus. Doran first banged on the door of the school bus. After the driver didn’t open the door, Doran then jumped onto the front of the bus while it was moving, signing things to the driver. The entire incident was caught on camera and has since gone viral.
The driver would not stop because he felt concerned about his safety and the safety of the students aboard the bus. An off-duty officer was nearby and arrested Doran, and he has since been released from custody. He faces charges of disorderly conduct and destruction of property. An investigation is currently underway. We will continue to keep you updated on this story.
