Retailers Crank Up Holiday Deals

Are you looking for the best deals this holiday season?

Around the U.S., retailers are cranking up holiday deals. During Thanksgiving, the store, Urban Outfitters, had a buy-one-get-one-50-percent-off offer for all apparel. This is a major change compared to last year. Last year, the store only offered 30 to 40% off of clearance items.

Many retailers are using their huge networks of stores to speed up delivery, and compete with Amazon. Target will use 1,000 of its 1,800 stores to help process online orders. Compared to last year, this is more than double the amount of stores used for holiday sales.

For 2016, the National Retail Federation expects holiday sales to jump 3.6 percent to $655.8 billion. Consulting firm, PWC, forecasts that this year, holiday spending will hit its highest level since the Great Recession.

So, what stores do you hope to find the best deals at?
