According to the Princeton Review’s 2018 edition of The Best 382 Colleges, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) has been listed as one of the nation’s best universities for undergraduate education.
RIT was praised by its students for its diversity and strong LGBTQ community. Many students participate in clubs that better allow them to connect with their peers. NTID was applauded for providing accessibility for deaf and hard of hearing students with interpreting services, captioning/C-printing and note-taking. RIT students praise their professors for being helpful in and out of class, encouraging freedom of expression and fostering success. The author, Robert Franek, chose RIT as one of the best colleges because of the outstanding academics.
