Favorite

Today, Thursday, May 18th, Roger Ailes died at the age of 77. Alies was the former chairman and founder of Fox News.

Before working for Fox, he served as an adviser to several U.S. presidents including Richard Nixon and George Bush Senior.

Many people credit him for making Fox one of the most powerful voices in conservative media.

Last year, Ailes resigned from his position at Fox after several female employees accused him of sexual harassment. It was reported that after he left Fox, he focused on helping Donald Trump prepare for the presidential debates.

His wife, Elizabeth says she is profoundly sad and heartbroken, "but even as we mourn his death, we celebrate his life."
