From Wednesday night into Friday morning, Spain has been battling numerous terrorist attacks.
It was around 5:00 pm in Barcelona when a white van swerved and hit a crowd of people walking down the street of Las Ramblas. 13 people have been killed and at least 100 were injured. The driver escaped and is on the run.
There was another attack early Friday morning in Cambrils, 70 miles south of Barcelona. Police found five suspected terrorists using an Audi A3 to run people over. After gunfire from both sides, all terrorists were killed, and six civilians and one officer were injured.
Police now believe that an explosion on Wednesday night around 11:15 pm is connected with the attacks. It happened 120 miles southwest of Barcelona in a house in Alcanar. One woman died and six others were hurt.
ISIS has declared responsibility for Barcelona, but has not directly claimed involvement in the other attacks.
Last night, the Eiffel Tower went dark in tribute to the victims and the One World Trade Center in New York City was lit in red and yellow, representing the flag of Spain.
