Dark chocolate contains numerous amounts of minerals, and is actually a good source of soluble fibers. Unfortunately, if you are watching your weight, this may not be the best solution for you.
In order to get all of the healthy fibers and minerals, a person would need to consume a 100 gram bar of dark chocolate, which contains around 600 calories. It is not advised to eat a large bar every day.

That’s right, in 2006, a study suggested that dark chocolate can lead to significant improvements in heart health. The data gathered that consuming cocoa reduced the incidence of heart related death by as much as 50%.
