Turkey Referendum

Turkey has voted 51.4% in favor of changing the country from a Parliamentary democracy to an executive presidency, granting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the majority of power.

Three major cities in Turkey have objected to the new system, including Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.

The Turkish Election Commission hasn’t released the official results yet. Official results will arrive in about 10 days after the objections have been considered.
