The supermarket Kroger is recalling a specific type of purified water for babies. They are in 1-gallon jugs branded with the following phrase: “Comforts for Baby Purified Water with Fluoride Added”. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said the testing was positive for a specific type of mold. It can’t always be seen with the naked eye, according to the FDA. While it is not a serious health risk for babies, it can be dangerous for those with weak immune systems. Those batch of drinks that were contaminated were labeled with ‘Sell-By’ dates between April 26th, 2018 and October 10, 2018. They can be found at different Kroger locations as well as several other marketplaces. The contaminated batches were sold in 14 different states between Missouri and North Carolina. They stopped selling this batch several weeks ago. If you bought one, return it to your store for a refund.
