Would You Take a Flying Car?

Have you wondered if there will ever by flying cars in your lifetime? Well, flying cars might become real in just a few more years!


On November 8th, Uber chief product officer, Jeff Holden, announced that the city of Los Angeles will join Dallas as the first to provide flying car transportation. Several of the company’s goals is to complete the flying car prototype, UberAir, by 2020, then make it widely used during the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.


Uber is partnering with NASA to help develop a specialized air traffic control network. This will alleviate some of the traffic on the ground. Uber will work on traffic management systems to figure out how to avoid any mid-air collisions.


Uber also signed an agreement with the Sandstone Properties from Los Angeles to develop Skyport roof-top takeoff and landing terminals across 20 different buildings in the city. Would you jump aboard one of those?
