How many of you love the Titanic? The iconic vessel holds a special place in our hearts. Is it your dream to see the underwater shipwreck in real life? Well, now you can. For the first time since 2012, in spring of 2018, tourists will be able to participate in eight-day dives down to explore the notorious shipwreck.
However, there is a catch. A deadly and rare rust eating bacteria in the water is devastating what still exists of the ship. So, willing participants need to book their trips fast. The Titanic has a life expectancy of 20 more years.
Right now, the trip costs about $105,129 per person. Blue Marble Private and OceanGate Expeditions will conduct an eight-day tour, while another seven-week expedition is available.
On the seven-week expedition, tourists will be accompanied by specialists, submersible pilots and an operations crew.
