Do you know a young deaf male between the ages of 9 and 12? Are they interested in acting? There is a movie called “The Parts You Lose,” about a young Deaf boy named Wesley, who meets a fugitive and brings him to a farmhouse to recover. They need a Deaf actor for the role.
Here’s how you can submit yourself for the audition. Do you see the link in our post? That link contains the script for the audition. Work to memorize your lines and rehearse. Then, film yourself on a plain wall with good lighting like this (Show photo of a good plain self tape). You can use an iPhone, just make sure it is horizontal not vertical.
Once you’re finished, make sure you slate your name, weight, height, age, and state.
Send your final info to ThePartsYouLose@gmail.com.
All of this is due on November 14th.
If you are cast, the company will pay to fly you to Winnipeg, Canada to film. Filming will start in December for three weeks, then there will be a Christmas break. Filming will resume another three weeks in January. This is a SAG film with payment and travel. Transportation and accommodations will be provided.
