Presidential Debates

In 2016, DPAN streamed the first-ever American Sign Language (ASL) coverage of the presidential debates between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. We streamed the debates in real-time on our website and social media. It gave the deaf community a chance to join in politics in their own language. Over 500,000 people watched, showing huge interest in accessible political content for the deaf.
